Chocolate Almond Butter Protein Squares

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup oats

  • 1/4 cup almond flour

  • 1/4 cup vanilla protein powder

  • 1/3 cup maple syrup

  • 1 cup almond butter or nut butter of choice

  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips

  • 1 tbsp coconut oil

  • Optional: you can add hemp seeds, flax meal, chia seeds, etc. You could top it with sea salt, dried berries, nuts, etc. Make it your own!

Instructions:

  • Mix oats, almond flour, protein powder, maple syrup, and almond butter in a large bowl.

  • Line a 8x8 baking pan with parchment paper. Pat the mixture into the bottom.

  • Melt the chocolate chips and coconut oil in the microwave. Pour over the oat mixture.

  • Freeze for at least 1 hour. Cut and serve!
